Glossary - Literature review
is a summary of research performed on a selected topic. The literature review structure will depend on the assigned paper, as well as the requirements of the instructor. Nevertheless, any structure of a literature review must survey the sources that are most relevant to the selected area of research.
Many wonder how to start a literature review. The introduction to a literature review can vary from one paper to another, but its goal is always to introduce a chapter where previous work in the same field will be discussed. After the introduction, the critical literature review will evaluate and assimilate the previous work into the current work he’s performing.
